Charged by American Heart Association leadership to create a new national movement to dramatically improve the cardiovascular health of Americans.
CK&D conceptualized the overall healthy behavior movement — My Heart. My Life™ — building a series of action-driven programs to ignite societal change and raise significant fundraising dollars for the organization.
This movement has brought new relevance to the AHA brand; creating hands-on experiences, like the Teaching Gardens program. In year one, more than 100 gardens have been planted to help elementary students understand the value of good eating habits and the importance of physical activity.
